Ballas, Los Santos'ta bulunan bir Afro-Amerikan sokak çetesi. Şehirdeki en yoksul/harabe mahallelerin en doğusunda çoğu toprakları bulunuyor. Çetecilik, çete savaşları, sokak şiddeti, fuhuş, çete ile ilgili cinayetler, uyuşturucu ticareti/üretimi (özellikle crack kokain ticareti), silah kaçakçılığı/silah ticareti ve vandalizm ile uğraşmaktadırlar. Çete rengi olarak mor giysiler giyerek kolayca tanınabilirler.
Ballas, Los Santos'taki en büyük ve en güçlü sokak çetesi olup, Grove Street Aileleri'nin geri itildiği Grove Street ve çevresindeki birkaç mahalle ile birlikte Los Santos'un çoğu sokağını kontrol etmektedir. Ballas, silahlar için Rus Mafyası ile kurdukları sağlam bağlar sayesinde Los Santos'taki crack-kokain işinde önemli bir etkiye sahiptir.

The Ballas are an African-American street gang based in Los Santos. Most of their territory can be found in the poorer/run-down neighborhoods to the far east of the city. They are involved in gangbanging, gang warfare, street violence, prostitution, gang-related homicide, murder, drug trafficking/manufacturing (especially the crack cocaine trade), gun-running/arms trafficking, and vandalism. They are easily identifiable by wearing purple clothing as their gang color.
The Ballas are the largest and most powerful street gang in Los Santos, and control most of the streets of Los Santos with the Grove Street Families being driven back to Grove Street itself and a few surrounding neighborhoods. The Ballas are major influential players in the crack-cocaine business in Los Santos thanks to their established ties to the Russian Mafia for weapons.
