The Gator Keys, geliştirme sırasında kesilen Vice City bölgesini yeniden hayal etmeyi ve restore etmeyi amaçlayan bir harita genişletme modudur, muhtemelen zaman kısıtlamaları nedeniyle. Vice City Next Gen (1.2) projesi için inşa edilen bu mod, dünyayı büyük ölçüde hikaye dostu bataklık alanları, yeni adalardan oluşan bir zincir ve tüm bölgeleri ana karaya bağlayan yeni yollarla genişletiyor.
Mod hala geliştirme aşamasında ve beklenebilecek birkaç hata var;

The Gator Keys is a map expansion mod aimed at reimagining and restoring the area from Vice City that was cut during development, presumably due to time restraints. Built for the Vice City Next Gen (1.2) project, this mod extends the world with largely lore-friendly swampy areas, a chain of new islands and new roads connecting all the areas to the mainland.
The mod is still in WIP, and there are a few bugs that can be expected;
However, the mod includes:
- Vehicle paths
- Navmeshes (Ped spawns)
- Nighttime lights and neon
- Lore-friendly textures with normals and spec maps.
- Parked car spawns
- Drivable ship (from VCS)
- Option to spawn beta vehicles around the new areas (requires JTR6699's Beta Vehicles Mod)
